Body Preparation & Removal
Temporary body bracing was installed before lifting the body from the chassis, preserving body geometry throughout disassembly. With the body removed, unrestricted access was gained for chassis development and drivetrain packaging.

Drivetrain Packaging
The SR20DET and Nismo 6-speed transmission were mocked into the chassis to establish engine location, driveline angle, transmission tunnel dimensions, and future turbocharger packaging before final chassis fabrication.
The first complete drivetrain mock-up establishes engine position, transmission placement, and overall chassis packaging before permanent fabrication begins.
Mocking the drivetrain into the chassis verifies steering clearance, transmission fitment, and available space for the turbocharger, exhaust manifold, and supporting systems.
